For the second Poetry haul created by
, we were to choose all or some words from the following list: missing, wish, blame, gem, lost, long, phenomenal, crime, history, and interstellar. The word that jumped out to me was interstellar and so, my poem’s focal point is just that. I used eight out of the ten words. Let me know what you think🌻.:Thank you for taking the time to listen to my heart:.
____________
Long lost galaxies hold missing gems. I’m propelled into orbit. Interstellar travel through the cosmos by way of stardust. Light waves polarized bounced off objects. Swirl around the Milky Way. A billion stars we cannot see. Magnetic fields missing the history of your smile. Blame it on the meteor showers. Send my wishes through celestial bodies, so history doesn’t repeat its heartbreak. Break barriers bound for bliss. Your eyes are long lost gems. I’ll spend lifetimes traveling through the galaxies of my mind to find them.
