For week six of
’s Poetry Haul, we were given the following words to incorporate into a free verse, haiku, or spoken word poem.supply, dismiss, cold, vision, hope, notified, somewhere, slams, remarkably, and proves.
For this week’s challenge, I decided to play with Alliteration—my favorite poetic device to work with. I used each of the words provided and either wrote to the left or the right with words that begin with the same sound.
Let me know what you think and don’t forget to check out
’s Poetry Haul if this sounds like something your creative mind might enjoy participating in!.:Thank you for taking the time to listen to my heart:.
