Tiptoe Towards the Tide

As the month of May begins, I am looking ahead with so much gratitude.

Gratitude for the consistency I’m showing myself with my writing and gratitude for those of you who have decided to come along on this journey with me!

Over the last couple of weeks, I’ve had an influx of readers and I can’t help but envision what it would be like if we were all gathered together, creating and sharing our art forms.

I feel energized and filled with so many creative ideas that I look forward to sharing with the community.

Tip toe towards the tide. 

Heart open wide
With my mind
on the rise.

Wise words were 
whispered 
to be considered 
as the seagulls

                      Y.

Listening to the wind; 

Minding my mood to see 
where to begin.

Set my sights on the 
horizon 
While finding the 
right plan to devise in.

Stick to the roots 
I’m planting,

That continue to merge 
with what I’ll 
Never 
take 
for 
granted.
